Here’s a challenging riddle and brain teaser for you:

Riddle:
I'm golden and aged but never old,
Melt me down, and I turn bold.
Stacked in slices or shredded fine,
On burgers or crackers, I taste divine.
What am I?

Brain Teaser:
You have 8 blocks of cheddar cheese, but one of them is slightly heavier than the others.
You have a balance scale, but you can only use it twice to determine which block is the heaviest.
How do you find the heavier block?

Brain Teaser Answer:

1. Divide the 8 blocks into three groups:

   • Three blocks on the left scale pan

   • Three blocks on the right scale pan

   • Two blocks set aside

2. Weigh the two groups of three blocks:

   • If one side is heavier, the heaviest block is in that group.

   • If they balance, the heavier block is in the two blocks set aside.

3. Take the heavier group (which now contains only three blocks) and pick two of them to weigh against each other:

   • If one side is heavier, that block is the heaviest.

   • If they balance, the heaviest block is the one not on the scale.

This method finds the heavier block in only two weighings! 🧀
